Owner and operator
Hello, my name is Melissa and I am the owner and operator of Whidbey Island Mushrooms LLC. I do most of the growing operation but I can’t take all of the credit, my husband helps with the tent set up and my son helps when I need him to!
We live on a small farm (Willow Ranch) in Oak Harbor with plenty of animals including horses which are the love of my life!

My husband takes care of the tent set ups, he is much more techy than I ever will be! He is retired from the Coast Guard where his line of work was an electronic technition. Our incubation and fruiting tents need to have certain heat, humidity and airflow requirements so he set them up and fixes any issues that may arise.
